I received a same call just now and the number is3237658975, the guy's name is Alex and ID is same. I asked them to do it in my account if he is from Comcast. The same answer he gave to let me realized it is a scam. How this guy is continue cheating people?
Just got the same call. Everything is exactly as stated. Loud background noise, poor English, and couldn't even say who they were talking to. Poorly executed SCAM

Los Angeles, CA. Indian man as someone else said also lots of background noise, I knew it was a scam because he said he was from time Warner cable and my phone number is in no way affiliated with my husband and I's account. Just his number. Ridiculous.
Got a call from an Indian, saying he was from Comcast in Glendale, CA. Telling me I won $100 gift card and needed credit card info for $2.99 shipping. SCAM. (323) 546-7855
I got the call claiming they are TWC and bc I am valued as a customer they will send me a $100 gift card. I asked them to confirm my TWC account number and they said they only received my number from TWC. I ttold them no thanks and hung up.
I then called TWC and the chick didn't even seem to care....she didn't want to take any information about what happened. When I pressed the issue she transfered me to a line she knew was closed. Makes wonder about how well TWC cares about their customers.
