Called 6 times today. After hearing the voicemail I am beyond irritated. The IRS will not call you. They will notify you by snail mail and request you to call them to set up an appointment to go to your local IRS facility. Just a major pain I wish I could block....
I got a strange phone call from 310-283-0759 saying that I have a lawsuit, and I called back. First person verified my name and address, gave me a case number and transferred to someone else. Second person asked me if I remembered any unexpected issues. I said "no". He continued talking about that I may make mistake related to my taxes. That's why I have to pay $6,800 ... I asked them to send me a written document via mail and not willing to continue the conversation by the phone.
