Got one of these callers and I urge everyone in California to report them to the police, the penal code section is 653 (m) PC Annoying or harassing phone calls. Maybe if they start getting arrested this nonsense will stop.
I just thought of something. If you do pick up on these unwanted calls, and they offer services, etc
for your house, just say you are a renter and the landlord does those things. And please take me
off your FRIGGING list.!!!

I totally agree with CAresident's message. Do not answer unknown numbers. If you are curious about the caller, let it go to your answering machine, and never ever call them back to ask to be taken to their call list. Do you really believe that they care about what you want?
You will be just confirming that your telephone number is good and working to be kept in their calling list.
