some robo doll telling me I had student loans.... yeah, sure. I paid for my own college when I went and got out in 2006. they called my DNC listed # so they are criminals / scammers without a doubt. Likely phishing for personal information to steal as well.
"Student loan forgiveness" crap. I asked them why they ignore the Do Not Call Registry. Answer, "I have no control over that." I asked where they got my number, since I haven't had a student loan in 40 years. Answer, "We usually get these names from Facebook." When I said I don't have a Facebook account, he hung up on me. Creeps!
I just literally got a call from them, didn't pick up. They of course didn't leave a message. Seeing as 2 of ya just got these calls today too, They must be on a serious auto-dial spree. I somehow doubt these calls are actually coming from LA since Vontage and other "take your number anywhere" vo-ip companies have ruined our telephone systems for all of eternity.
Caller ID says BOORLA. The recorded message started late, so the first part of it wasn't played:
"... around the corner. It's advised that you enroll immediately to avoid disqualification. Press one to find out if you qualify in less than three minutes. Press nine to be removed from our list."
Whatever this is, it's definitely not worth answering.
