same thing as the rest of you. why don't we all make an appointment with them and then give them a fake street address. That way they will be all over the city being annoyed and wasting their time as they so freely do to us!
I got a call today at 2pm. It was a recoreded message for carpet cleaning. When I pushed "1", I got a woman that wanted to book a carpet cleaning job. I asked her the name of the company and she said "Carpet Care". When I asked where they were located, she told me, "We're all over the place". I then let her know that they're telemarketing my cell phone and I'm trying to stop the calls. At that point, she hung up on me. I tried calling back and got a busy signal. Then, I reported them to the "Do Not Call Registry".
Recorded message asking about carpet cleaning. Pressed 1 to speak to person. They identified themselves as Carpet Care. I asked for their telephone number, they hung up.
I received a call from this number on 5-12-2008 at 2:17 pm Pacific Time, no message was left, I did not answer the call because I was at work and had important things to do.
I received a call from this number on 5-12-2008 at 3:57 pm Pacific Time. Accidentally picked up and hung up immediately. Tried calling back through a private number. Could not get through.
Just (11:50AM PST, 5/13/2008) received a call and voice message (Carpet Cleaning) from this number, just like many times before. Immediately filed FTC Complaint (just like every time). These services are extremely annoying and disturbing. I'd hate to work for a company that does it. I really hope people who work there hate themselves too - that's the biggest punishment we can hope for. Meantime, I keep filing FTC Complaints FTC.GOV - Do Not Call Registry Complaint form. The economics will prevail!
