just called…said they were a company that could reduce interest rates on credit cards. I asked name of company….would not give me name of company….said "we work with several banks reducing interest rates, B of A, Chase, Wells Fargo, etc,"….then he asked for the expiration on my credit card, I asked which card?, he said "you have several cards, just give me the expiration on one of your cards" I said "No, this does not sound legit to me…I will work directly with my bank thank you!" hung up!
I heard an automated message "this call is regarding you credit card. There is no problem with you credit card, but you are eligible for something. press 1 to speak to live person. press 2 to disconnect." It sounds like a phishing expedition to me.
