Received call from this number 310-447-5801 and when I say hello, they hang up. Calling back and a message said we are unable to complete your call at this time. STOP calling!!!!
Another unwanted call from this invalid (spoofed) West L.A. number arrived today, just 2 weeks since the last unwanted call on Feb. 7. Once again, when the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This is a favorite ploy of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who troll the phone lines, using spoofed numbers to cover their tracks, while seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Several posters have identified the caller as a scam home improvement contractor, of whom there are many, often without a valid contractor's license. The winter rains have spawned many scam roofing contractors, crawling out of the woodwork and hungry as a swarm of termites.
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM OF THESE TELECRIMINALS. LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.
