Have no idea what "company" this caller represents. Could very well be a holiday scammer. Who knows? I didn't answer. Caller ID read says Credit Card Services.
Recieved this call approx 1:15 PM. It was VM from a woman named Laura something about my credit card and to press one for more detail. I don't own a credit card.
The recording says this is your last chance to lower interest rates on your credit card, press 1 to do that or 2 to remove yourself from this call list. I pressed 1 to find out what it was about. The guy who answered identified himself by first name and said credit card services and asked who I was. I said I'd like to know who you are first, what credit card do you represent? He said we represent all of them, Visa, MC, Discover, AmEx... He was pretty rude, which real credit card people generally are not, and I can't think how this company would have the authority to lower rates on all cards -- clearly I was going to have to tell him my name and credit card numbers, so I just hung up. Seems like a scam.
