Telemarketer Scam Artist that does not respect the DO NOT CALL list. If they break the law by calling, they are obviously up to fraudlent activiites/offers. Do not pick up if you get a call from 310-515-4842 - caller id: Andres Orozco.
The caller said he was calling on behalf of Home Solutions. They have called before but I have not blocked them so I pretended to show some interest to get some information about the company. I am glad I did because nobody on this thread has mentioned the company's name etc. I kept asking questions: where are you located? The telemarketer said Los Angeles, which doesn't give much away. I kept asking questions and getting vague answers. Pump them for information, people!! The caller was obviously calling from a boiler room because I could hear loads of other telemarketers calling people in the background. The background noise was horrendous. I told the caller that I could not hear him because of the noise, which prompted him to end the call. The caller ID was Andres Orozco.
For those that are interested, if you go to the back of the LA Weekly newspaper, they advertise loads of telemarketing positions at the back. Most of them are for home remodeling.
They keep calling, never leave a message. When I am there to take the call, I put the phone on mute and let the Robo-Dialer drop the call. That seems to be one way to turn the tables on these types of callers - I waste their time by answering the call to silence.
