They left a message saying they wanted to talk to LADWP customers--that I paid "$70" last month on my bill (not true)--tried to sound AS IF they were calling from LADWP...took a while for them to realize they were leaving a message on an answering machine and not talking to a live chump...clearly, a telemarketer. Why oh WHY doesn't the "do not call list" do anything????
Several calls from this number. When I return the call, using *67 to block my number, it says the number is disconnected. We have been getting these calls for the p as st 3 weeks.
We've gotten calls from both Compton, CA, 310-537-0914, and Compton, CA, 537-1457 (both numbers are now blocked), and they seem to be related. Wish they'd get a life and stop calling...but in the meantime, we'll block them (and if that doesn't work, we'll mute the phone and ignore them).
