Got a call from this number, no message left, CID says it is Panorama Mgt inc. Who ever that is. Strange the CID's are showing different company names. Has anyone reported this to their Attorny General's Office I think I will.
310--539--1783 Caller ID reads "CA READING SERV" (CA Reading Service).
Female caller used my (correct) first name, and I replied, "Who is this please?" [Never, ever, say Yes when any caller uses your first name when you answer a telephone, especially when they are calling your home!)
"California Reading Service."
"Who?"
"I already told you-- is this (my first name)?
"I'm sorry--I need you to identify who you are--who's calling--
(interrupted me and yelled) "Well so do YOU!" AND----Hung up on me!
I started calling back immediately. They'd pick up and lay the phone down (sounds of boiler-room calls being made by many people, ALL female voices). Then, phone hung up.
If they pick up, they don't speak (say hello even); mostly they let the phone ring until the phone company's automated message that "this caller is not available").
I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau in that area. Report this company for harrassing sales calls; and for the consumer's inability to request they remove the phone number from their database.
had a call today and they did have my correct name. when asked for me I simply said she wasn't home and they hung up. I tried to redial but line keeps ringing busy. need to stop these idots!
Caller ID showed the following number 310-539-3965 CA Reading Service.
Answered, stupidly and someone by the name of Rhonda (probably phoney)was on the other end. Something about a date for a possible 25,000 prize etc etc. No personal information was given to this individual. Probably just got phished. I called her back and every time she answered she stated I wasn't clear and was breaking up. So I decided to let my computer continuously call that number. She was getting very very pissed. She wound up yelling into the phone, making nasty comments, etc etc, holding down telephone keys to send annoying tones. This was definitely getting to her. One good turn deserves another I always say. (phone call Could also hear other women in the background doing the same thing.
Phone calls didn't cost me anything.
A female called and said she was from "California Reading Service" and that I had won a prize. I gave her phoney information and told her to call back next week. I wish these phoney's would get a real job and stop trying to con others.
