I am so tired of these people calling my cellphone and place of employment and leaving these threatening messages on my voicemail. I just don't know how these people get away with treating people like this and trying to collect money from hard working people like us. I know it's a scam because if it was anything important it would of come in the mail or at my door but know these people are just stupid and trying to scare us.
Maybe if enough of us complain about just maybe something will get done about these type of u know what people.

I am in the loan finance industry. These people and the things they are saying when they call are violating the law. A very specific and serious law called UDAAP. Unfaid deceptive and abusive acts or practices. They can not threaten you with jail or wage or tax garnishment to collect a debt. The law specifically prohibits companies from doing this and protects consumers from these actions. There are big fines and penalties for even 1 violation. Report these people to the better busniess bureau and attorney general's office EVERY TIME they call!!!
