Received call 3/27/17 at 3 PM Eastern standard time. Caller was a woman with accent said she was calling about windows 10 and someone was trying to hack my computer.
I keep getting phone calls from this number telling me they are from Microsoft and that they need me to go on my home computer and will instruct me what to do. I have no idea who this is but I refuse to deal with them, Sounds like someone from India.
Paul from Microsoft... Tells me someone is trying to hack into my computer. I ask for his manager. He keeps repeating everything I say. I tell him I know this is fraud... He goes offline pretending to get someone and never comes back.
they called and said my computer had been hacked and all of my personal information was being stolen as we speak, and that if I just go to the computer with them on the line they can help me fix it so my information would be safe, I said right now they are taking it, "yes mam, you have been hacked" I just hung up
