This afternoon, at 3:15, I got a call from 310-734-5673 on June 5, 2014. I did not answer the phone and the caller did not leave a message. It's annoying because I have to stop what I'm doing, get up and walk to the phone to look at the caller ID and then decide if I want to answer the call. My caller ID said, "Out of area," which tells me nothing.
I am being harassed day and night by this operation. I get 6 calls a day and to make it more annoying when I do answer (only to tell them to take my name off of their list) they hang up! That is insanity! Is there a threshold of reports that will generate some kind of legal action to stop this practice?
It nothing more than a scam going on. the other number they call from is 408-905-1574. do not talk to them and report there calls Please! they have hurt a lot of people with there scam.
I've recieved several calls from mulitiple during this month. I'm 100% sure that I've been recieving these calls after applying for jobs on job sites like Indeed.com or SimplyHired.com.. I'm just glad that I used my cell phone from At&t as my home phone which has a blocking feature. It allows me to block every number that spams my phone.
DO NOT list your landline as your home phone if you apply to those job sites. Use a prepaid tracfone. Some of them have a blacklist feature on them for free.
As of last week, I've been getting dozens of these types of calls (8 or so per day) from different numbers, including this one today, all on my cell phone. I was really starting to get upset about the whole thing, even thinking that I will have to change my cell phone number (which I've had for 15 years). I then realized that every one of these numbers is coming to my cell phone through my Google Voice number, a number that I forgot I even had. I checked the history in Google Voice, and sure enough, every spam call in the last week or so has come through Google Voice. Using the options in Google Voice, I turned off anonymous calls and reported all of these numbers as spam numbers. If you are getting these types of calls, check to see if you use Google Voice and turn them off. These crooks just may have gotten a hold of a database full of Google Voice numbers.
