This afternoon, at 3:15, I got a call from 310-734-5673 on June 5, 2014. I did not answer the phone and the caller did not leave a message. It's annoying because I have to stop what I'm doing, get up and walk to the phone to look at the caller ID and then decide if I want to answer the call. My caller ID said, "Out of area," which tells me nothing.
Called 310-734-0372 - it is some sort of education finder service. I asked them to remove my number from their call service. I receive these calls all day long and all they do is hang up. #veryannoyed
Recently filled out some information on a job search site and have been receiving calls from numbers, including 310-734-0372 (from California), several times a day. I tend to not pick up numbers that I do not recognize. They left no message. When I called back an automated message said that I reached "Enhanced Education- a free college information company". I was given two options 1) to speak to a representative or 2) to add my number to their DO NOT CALL list- I chose the 2nd option. I don't expect to hear from them again but we'll see. Now to deal with all the other unwanted calls.
I got a call from them today. When I picked up, I heard the caller say, "I got someone, everybody shut up!" in a very strong Asian (Indian) accent. Then he asked for me (by name), and said he was from "[unintelligible] University." I quickly realized it was a telemarketer or some other waste of my time. I hit the hangup button, and then immediately started dialing another number that I was getting ready to call. Apparently, the hangup button didn't work...in the background, I could hear, "What are you doing? What are you doing?" Not realizing they were still on the phone, I said hello again. They responded with, "Why are you entering numbers? I did not tell you to enter numbers!" I said, "Who the hell are you?" After a second, they responded, "Your father!" I hit the hangup button again, and this time it worked. They didn't call back. Weird.
This company is annoying. Keep calling my phone looking for some guy. I told them they call wrong number. But they still keep calling my home phone few time a days. Horrible company and annoying.
