Got a call from "Eric" @ this number claiming that my computer had downloaded some malicious software that would cause it to crash. He wanted me to turn on my computer so he could walk me through the fix. The accent was South Asian or Indian. The script was laughable. Obviously, some sort of scam. Beware!
Caller "Kim" claimed she was from the "Windows Service Center" and that my PC has been attacked by some malicious virus software. Her script was laughable and she did not have goodly command of the English language. One of our crack government agencies need to shut these mother-f**kers down!

Got a call from 310-734-8856 Windows Service Center saying I had a virus. I believe they wanted to take over my computer to "remove" it. That way, they can get into your files. A friend of mine was just scammed and his computer gone over with a fine tooth comb by someone clamming to get rid of problems they said he would soon be facing.
I suggest if someone calls you out of the blue......don't fall for it. Call the company they claim to be from...NOT using the phone number they give you if you want to check them out.
