I received a call from this number, and the lady said I was entered in a sweepstakes and close to being a winner for $25,000. Said company was connected to the Hearst company and they have been in business 40 years and were in California. I told her I could not afford to buy anything and not interested and she said she would call back in 2 weeks if I had won anything. I told her I did not want any magazines as I get them free from the library online. She already had my name and number and address which I do not give out to just anybody. Said the lead came "from your bank" and you must have a card that you never go into overdraw. Told her I am too poor to spend money I do not have.
I received a call from the above "310" number . They said they were from a magazine clearing house and my name was entered in a sweepstakes and ends 5/29/11. The wanted me to know I might be a winner and advised they would send 6 "free" magazine and a "free" watch. I did not give them any financial info. They asked my age and income, which I gave them incorrect info. Has anyone else been called by this number?
Yea, I got a call from them, said I was in the final sweepstakes for publisher clearinghouse for 25K or a new ford 150, wanted to know what color I wanted, then said they would give me 6 magazines free, if I would subscribe to one, wanted my visa #, I said no, and they just hung up. Tried calling back, just rings and rings. SCAM
Received phone call from 310-831-3529 stating that I'm entered into drawing for 25000 bucks, I asked person on line who is obviously from India, she said that they got it from the major Credit Card companies, I told her that I don't have a credit card, which I don't and she continued saying that I would have a Visa or Mastercard debit card and I told her that I don't have a debit card for my checking account and SHE HUNG UP.
I reversed lookup on the number and it gave this info

A woman called from this phone number. she asked to speak to my husband. I told her this was his wives pone and his wife speaking. she just said "oh" and hung up!
