Well I blocked my number and called them back. Man with a heavy middle eastern accent answered saying "Hello this is the Department of services. How may I help you?" Hung up called back..same thing. Called again tonight at 9:15 and it says sorry the person you are trying to reach is not available. Please leave your message after the beep. Its a VM that sounds like someone from England. Guess the fraudsters have to take a night off too :).

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
I got a call from this number saying that I need to call back ASAP due to IRS investigation and if I don't call back right away I can get arrested. They are saying that they are from US TREASURY DEPARTMENT.

A man with a heavy Indian accent then stated that he is from IRS. I asked for his name and he said that his name is STEVE BROWN Badge ID 190097 and he kept insisting that I give him information about me. I didn't give him any information because he didn't want to tell me where he is located.
IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 310-993-5439 DO NOT CALL THEM BACK AND BLOCK THE NUMBER!! THIS IS A SCAM!!!!
