Received a text message from this number stating that my recent entry for a contest won, and to go to a particular web site and enter the winning code number 6655 to claim a $1,000.00 Best Buy gift card. Does anyone out there have any information regarding this? I smell a scam. I haven't entered a contest in the last 20 years that I know of. Thanks
I received the same message. I haven't been to Best Buy for about a year--I like the store--but obviously hadn't entered a contest in the past month, so wondered about that... Wonder how they got my phone number. Too bad too, cause I could have been happy to use a $1000 gift card, ohh well... I don't give my e-mail or password to unknown sources, so glad I didn't click on anything.
