I received a call from this company GLOBAL TRAVEL SERVICES 2 months ago. And I rented my 2 weeks available for this year they send me the timeshare agreement and enclose the check amounting to $1,500. I called the 310-975-3921 asking why is it that I received only $1,500 since we agree 3600/week according to the manager they will send it in a separate check. The first check I received is for the maintenance fee that the medical group reimburse. I do some research online but most of the comments i read are negative soo I'm kinda confuse..But most of the comments i read are complaints that they were been called several times and bugging them.
IT'S A SCAM!!! call themselves Global Travel Services. even have a website that almost looks real! offered to rent my timeshare for 3600 per wk. only charge 199.00/wk. for 5 wks. to some doctors going to a conference in Cancun. sounded too good to be true. after checking them out, found that they have an F- rating and many others were also scammed. thank God I canceled the card before the charge went through! Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, IT'S A SCAM!!!!

My caller ID showed that the call came from 858-346-2222 "IP Communication." I don't usually answer these but I've had phone problems today and thought it might be related. Christine Torres from Global Travel Services was offering me $3600 + $750 for my maintenance fees to rent out our timeshare weeks for a medical convention in Cancun, Jan 24-31. She gave me her phone number of 310-975-3921 when I said that I would need to do some further research before I'd proceed. She also had me view their website at www.team-gts.com. Seemed like a scam and too good to be true, but, of course, enticing, so I've been checking it out. "Christine" also had a thick accent and wasn't on the line right away when I answered the phone. I've read similar stories on several websites today.
got several calls from Joyce Martinez from Global travel. Trying to rent vacation property for a medical conv4ention in Cancun. $3600 per week plus up to $750 for maintance fee. mentioned several times that I would pay nothing upfront. Just $99. per week that booked & that ould also b refunded. Seemed way to good to be true. If a mical group wants my weeks, I will sell them the unit for $10,000 & they can keep it for ever.
