To date this center has called 14 times. I answered one call and asked them to stop. Well, that only pissed them off, as now 8 calls later, it's like they have a personal vendetta. Saturday and Sunday wake up calls, and late evening calls. DAILY! How the hell do you get this to stop?
This is Norc U from the Universuty if Chicago. you can keep calling the number back till you get a representative and request to be removed. they also have a 1800 number.1-866-999-3340. I called 4 times in a row kept getting answer machine till someone picked up requested to be removed from list and haven't received call since.
We had received a letter letting us know that we would be getting this call from the Center for Disease Control. The caller asked how many children under 4 years of age then he asked how many were under 18 years. Since our household has no one under 18, he thanked me for my time and ended the call. He was very polite!
Stop posting CDC info, this has nothing to do with immunizations, this has to do with rude people calling me during dinner and numerous times throughout the day. If they are providing a service, fine. But what reputable company hangs up on you once you've answered the phone?
Don't know what phone provider you guys have but most of them have a feature that enables you to block calls from coming to your home. On mine it's *60. Works like a charm.
Just FYI: NEVER give any information about you, your children or anyone else you know to anyone you DON'T know.
