They won't leave a message so I won't return the call or ever answer from this number. It is out of the area and I just won't answer if I don't know who is calling. It's that simple. identify yourself on the caller ID and I'll decide

I have found a way to get these people to stop calling me....having caller ID, I answer the phone "West ------ Police", they hung up and stopped calling. I have also reported them to the FTC do not call number (888-382-1222).

I've been readng the posts on here-these people ask for you to sign a release so they can access your child's health records. For what reason-to harvest their Social Security numbers?

It would be nice if we could forward all of these annoying caller's numbers to the cops or leave a vm greeting to tell them to call the number of another telemarketer. Hmmm...is it possible?

For those of you who are really sick of these researchers calling you and mistreating you I have copied some information of people who might listen to you if you fill their email boxes with letters about how your being harassed. This total lack of professionalism by a research firm should not be tolerated. you are the people you now have the information you have always had the power.

Questions or comments on an NORC study?
If you have questions or comments about an NORC study, please contact us at [email protected].
How did your number get chosen?
Because most of our surveys need to be representative of a broad segment of the public to be valid, NORC does not call from telemarketing lists or phone books.  Instead, a computer scientifically selects telephone numbers for surveys from banks of telephone numbers for each geographic area. This method ensures that all state and local areas are represented in the study results.
