he did the same thing to me today. I just got this number 3 months ago, and he called being rude looking for my brother in law for a collections case that is 8 years old, but wont give me any information. He threatened to lock me up for aiding my brother in law, but when I asked him if he was a sworn law enforcement officer employed by a city, county, state, or federal agency, he did not want to talk to me anymore. How did he get my new number???
Caller is calling stating I have a case number against me and there is a warrent out for my arrest! Caller is rude and harrassing and beligerent. Will not state his business or what it is about. Just gives some kind of case number. Also is calling someone I know..but not related to. Don't even know how he got their number. Also...uses a last name I had over 5 years ago. The person he is also calling...I didn't even know 5 years ago and has only had their phone number for 6 months!
Received a call from an Anthony Flint who is a debt collector but did not state what company he is with but he also gave me a case number. I do not know what the debt is for and asked him to mail me proof of the debt but he continues to call me at work although I told him not to and threatened to have me arrested which he is also prohibited by law to do. I have filed a complaint with the FTC on this guy.

My friend got a call on her cell phone which gave her a case number, and told me to call back this number, when I called back, they couldn't find the case number, and told me to call back in 30 minutes, to see if there is a case against me. This has scared the hell out of me, but I'm wondering how did they get her number, and I have perfect credit, so I don't owe anyone. I think this may be some kind of scam...
