Got called during work, I believe this is the same one that woke me up yesterday saying something about a job/business opportunity. The woman had a very thick accent that I couldn't identify, and asked for Frederick. When I said 'wrong number', twice, she read the scheme to me as though I was supposed to know what it was. I said I wasn't interested and she hung up on me without a word. No company names or info was provided...
Got a call from the fake Attorney. General's office again today using this number now. They switch up the spoofed number all the time, but continue to stick to the goofy scam of trying to convince me that the police are coming out today to arrest me.. Ha! I thanked the "officer" for letting me know in advance so I could fry up some donuts and put on the coffee for the cops before they get here. He didn't find that very funny. Don't know why. Maybe the police in India don't eat donuts.
I have been getting calls from some a guy who sounds likr he's from India stating the givernment wants to give me money 5200.00 dollars to go to walgreens or CVS and call them from there to collect and even gave me a confirmation number but he is very hard to understand. I think this is the same guy who called before and said the Gov was giving me money a free grant but wanted my bank information to deposit the money I told him absolutely not he could mail it to me and he hung up
these. People. Said. The US Government was given. Me money. This guy told me to(or go to the Walgreens and get a. Green.dot card for 600 .I told him this was a scam he called me nasty nasty names and threatened me

Got 3 calls from this number in less than an hour so I called back and got this woman from who knows where that I couldn't understand telling me to go walgreens with my confirmation number and then call them back. I asked why and she asked me how long it would take me. Then we said it sounded like a scam and she hung up. Calledback and got another person with the same story. Told them we were reporting them and don't call back. Hung up again before I could finish.
