Had message on answering machine stating from IRS. Called knowing it was not the IRS. Got agent...outsourced I am sure. Told Agent IRS will write letters not call. Hung up. Called back again. Told them not to call my number again, was called names. Some people might believe that it is the IRS. Just criminals.
As I was reading through the posts, I saw the number you posted was the closest to the number I received a call from. 253 382 9999. The guy said his name was Jason. Gave me his corporate ID # and proceeded to tell me that I one this free vacation for the purposes of advertising for them by mouth. That the political survey people advertised for them as well. I am a naturally trusting person so I gave them my personal info, but when it came to giving them my credit card 3 for the $118 fee, I did not feel so good. The guy was very very nice, and even after I told him I was goggling that this was a scam, he proceeded to convince me otherwise. He sent me a supposed e-mail confirmation from Caribbean Cruise Line. I hung up after that..
