Had message on answering machine stating from IRS. Called knowing it was not the IRS. Got agent...outsourced I am sure. Told Agent IRS will write letters not call. Hung up. Called back again. Told them not to call my number again, was called names. Some people might believe that it is the IRS. Just criminals.
I got that same garbage - take a survey and win a cruise. The caller was very rude. I waited until they asked for my credit card number, which I knew they would, and then hung up.
Tricky tactics used to get around the rules of the "Do Not Call" list by robot first stating it is 'not a sales call' (which means it is). They hide behind the guise of a 'political survey', after which upon answering their questions, you are promised a cruise - a dead giveaway that this was all a load. Called me from 503-563-0003. I pressed 9 for "remove from list". Hopefully they don't call again. It's such a nuisance to report these types.
I got a phone call from cfpp research today, phone number 503-563-0017, took the survey, said I'd won a cruise to the Bahamas however I said "Great as long as I don't have to give you any personal information like my name, social, address or banking info" and the caller HUNG UP ON ME!!! Real professional! So I've been reading these responses from political boost or whatever it is and I just want to say "You suck and no one should pay for your services ever. You are unprofessional bloodsuckers that do none of us any good. It says I am responding to Cactus Wren but I am just trying to post my experience here as I found this site.
