Oh my goodness! I also met him on Tinder and we continued to communicate via Viber. He told me the same story as Sharon's. He wanted to visit me and said he did not have access to his bank account so he asked me to send him $6,000 to pay for his leave from the military. That is when I knew it must be a scam. He is also known as Richard Wallace and is still on Tinder as Thomas.
The person goes by the name Raymond Johnson who claims to be a member of the US military. He meets women on tinder and after connecting off the site deletes your tinder connection (red flag). He said that he is divorced with a daughter (the young girl in the picture with him). He never got far enough to ask for any money but something that he said made me google his number. There is a write-up on scamwarners.com (August 24, 2016) describing his actions.
Check romancescam.com, and see if his profile is listed there.
