This is a scammer trying to sell insurance coverage for those who they think have or know someone who has a social disease.
The caller claims to have access to all health records and calls those who have a record indicating a sexually related problem - even if it is not a social disease.
It is interesting listening to these callers - just to get insight as to the latest scams, I put the number on the call-block list.
I do not buy for one nanosecond that there is a list to buy. If this was the case then I should be getting such calls all day long. I believe a source of the problem is AARP. My mother is a member and she has been getting all types of calls (most of my posts are based on her calls). Somewhere in their terms of service it says that they share certain types of information with third parties. I tend to believe that this info is then passed around until it gets into the wrong hands.
Besides that there could be various organizations that people belong to that share information. So when it comes right down to it, the list is endless.

This alleged number left a message on my mothers answering system. If it wasn't a life alert call than it was some other medical nonsense call similar to the one she received yesterday about being pain. I will only answer her phone if I am familiar with the caller. Otherwise they get to say hello to her machine.

FCC and DoJ\FBI do not investigate. Callers are a "minority" and non-US citizens so they (Feds) give more rights\protections than folks that are legals here in the USA y'all, wise up!
