Kris314, The DNC like any other law works only if it is enforced. The FTC is in charge of enforcing this law. We do our part by reporting this violations but the FTC finds it easier to just file them away. We taxpayers are paying the FTC to just be a filing system.
We need to write to all of our US senators and ask them to hold hearing to hold the FTC accountable. Also ask them to bring witnesses to testify abut how this telemarketers are invading our homes and harassing our families while the people in charge of protecting us from this are making the easy money by just filing. I am doing this right now.
The FTC has received over two million complaints since January; yet, they have not given us any relief for this telemarketers.
It is good to come to this site to vent our frustration over the lack of enforcement but if we want to stop this, we must put feet to our complaints an ask the Senators to help us.
I have the same issue with these jerks! FCC said the FTC is who can help. I filed a complaint against the number calling me and they started calling from another number. Geeze!!!
