Caller heard  my  greetings message  and hung up the phone.

What greeting message do you have? I might use it has mine.

I just let it ring on my landline. I don't have the answering machine turned on due to these x#?!! calls. Caller ID said Chicago IL

These people are very active.  They just called me (though I didn't answer the phone), and they called my mother-in-law this morning, trying to get info out of her, and wanting her to order a "free" knee brace (because Medicare would pay for it).  She was all worried someone had her medical records, but I told her they called tons of people, and that it's just a scam.

Just another scam. Don't even bother answering the phone.
