I'm glad I looked this number up. That guy with the SUPER heavy accent called and left a message on my cell phone just a few mins ago. I was going to call back because he said the same thing he told everyone else. Now that I know it's a scam I won't bother.
I received my first call on April 15, 2015. How timely! The male caller said I would be arrested in the next 45 minutes unless I paid for my fraudulent tax penalties. I asked for his supervisor just to see if he had one. Another male, or maybe the same one, came on and gave a badge number, which was of course unsolicited to make them sound trustworthy. After informig him of no outstanding anything, he assured me that I would be visited in 45 minutes by a constable representing the US Dept. of the Treasury. I let them know I would be home and waiting. My husband came home a couple hours later and said, "oh, you're still here." We both had a good laugh.
Today, April 20, came home to a message from the same clowns. Apparently, I have one more chance to make things right with the US Treasury Dept. I am curious to see how long they will continue this harrassment.
My disabled mother got a call from this number. She calls me at work frantic saying shes going to be arrested in 45 minutes,because she owes back taxes. She insures the male caller tht she does not, and he ends the call stating tht dont be surprised when the sheriff knocks at the door. At this point im livid. I call the number phone rings twice. Man with heavy accent answers and says IRS Department Treasury. I said hello good afternoon,may i ask with whom am i speaking with. He says his name is Jason Snyder, i ask for his badge number he says its 10035. I then thank him and say may i speak with your supervisor. He says who. i repeated myself and he responded with yes,but then hung up. Needles to say i then called back got someone new on the phone who did not answer with a greeting. Asked forbhis name and badge number got. Kevin petersen badge number 10026. When i asked to speak with Jason he got rude and belligerent. Called me brainless, told him i knew it was a scam. He said if i knew it all how big was his manhood i said first off if u worked for the giv u would not be speaking to me this way. And i said 2nd of all 1mm,then laughed and hungup. Its a scam ppl.
My parents, who have since been retired, received a voicemail from the said agent. His voice is the same as described by others with a thick accent. Same threats as others saying that he was from the Treasury Department with the IRS and blah blah blah blah blah. My father called the number, because my mother was scared that it would really happen, and the gentleman answered. He stated that my father owed taxes from 2010 in the amount of $4000 and if he did not pay then the police will be there to take him. My father stated that he did not owe taxes and if he did he would go pay at the office in our city. The guy hung-up!
I returned home and had received 2 messages from the United States Treasury with IRS. This really disturbed me. I called immediately and a man with a heavy thick accent was telling me that I had a debt and could be arrested. I hardly understood and kept asking him to repeat himself. He got an attitude,I asked his name and he said Kevin Petersen. Then he asked me if I was a "N"? and hung up.
