THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY - THEY ARE SCAMMERS WHO APPEAR TO BE PREYING ON INDIVIDUALS WHO MAY HAVE OUTSTANDING DEBT AFTER FRAUDENTLY GETTING HOLD OF CREDIT REPORTS. The person in charge is Anthony Stand of a ficticous company called American Credit LLC. His accomplice is a woman going by the name of Naomi. I have the Attorney General investigating on my behalf now. They tried threating me with being arrested for wire-fraud claiming I had an outstanding payday loan. According to the Attorney General, a person cannot get arrested for an outstanding debt, and it they couldn't never file charges against me for wire fraud because the loan wasn't paid. Do not give them any information if you get a call. Even if you think you have an outstanding debt with the company they say they are calling on behalf of. I recently applied for a new car and my information was sent to numerous finance companies. I believe this is where these crooks got my information from. According to Patrick Hurley with the Attorney General Office, if you get a call and are threatened by them, just hang up. Call the company they claim you owe and confirm with them directly. If you do owe money, pay the original company, not this American Credit LLC.
Not only are they scammers, but they also violate the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act by calling everyone they think who may know you (easy to look up on internet searches now), and are telling them about this debt. It is against the law for any company to discuss any of your finances, including debt, with people you have not authorized this information to be released to.
Some other information, all of these numbers are also bogus numbers they use to call you and others who may know you.

When I asked him to send my proof of my debt in the mail, after putting me on hold for a while, he came back and said he couldn't mail (red flag - all legit companies will mail), and offered to email it to me. I still haven't received the email.
Also, the company listed in Cheyenne WY appears to be a company they stole information from and set us the bogus Payment Processing number. The 855-259-2451 is also a bad numer. The only option is to leave a voicemail in an unassigned voicemail box.
