They call and tell you your loan has been approved (didnt apply for any loans) and then when asked who they were, they hung up. Called back and asked what company they were and were told Cashnet/Payday America. They said they got the number from any website we've applied on (we havent) And they are using records from 4-5 years ago. Told them to remove my name and number, and stop calling (they call daily) and they hung up on me again.
All your numbers are " hacked " off of websites used for credit cards, PayDay Loans, Buying Clubs, etc.... then, they are used for anything from telemarketing to " impersonating " a Law Office and trying to scare you into giving them money to settle some bogus, non-specific issue that's out there against you. ( here's the kicker, they tell you if you don't return the call, all they can do is " wish you good luck as the matter unfolds against you "... )... sound familiar to anyone?? What legitimate collection action says that?? Answer.... NONE
They are full of S_ _ _! Don't answer the calls....
I received a call from this number I blocked it on my phone. I hope these thieving scammers are prosecuted and put in jail with hard criminals. I wonder how long will the states attorney take to locate these people.
