We have encountered the same thing here. He is a very rude person and won't take No for an answer. We have hung up on him several times and he keeps calling back to my employees and trying to get different people here to try and get to the person he is asking for. He is claiming he is Peter Jones. He definetely is not english and has a real thick accent and is not clear about where he is calling from but just that he is trying to collect a debt and if we don't get the message tot he person he is asking for there will be authorities at his door.
Please investigate this number. I have saved the threatening voicemail they left. See my replies to others posts. stated they were calling on behalf of CASHUSA about a loan I owed from 2010. Never dealt with such a compnay, wanted payment over the phone before I got supeoned for court and went to jail.
i got a call from 3128780172 and some indian guy told me that i was being taken to court by some company name called cashadvance bcuz i owe them money for not paying my payments on time but i never applied for any loans and he also told me that i would get a letter in the mail from the court and i would go to jail if i dont take this matter seriously so i got upset and started cursing at the guy and he hung up on me so i called back and asked him if i can speak to his mangager about this matter but he reufuses to let me talk to his manager so i cursed him out and hung up but i know this is just a damn scam from telemarkaters and i dont know how they got all my information from but i will take this matter into my hands if they keep calling me
I get at least 10 or more calls, most back to back, someone with an Indian accent stating he is Jeff Miller or John Black (yeah ok), from some company I can't even understand what he is saying, How can we make these calls stop. This is utterly ridiculous!!!! It interrupts me at work, although I do ignore them and when checking my voicemail I just delete it before listening. Each day the calls get more and more. I had this happen about 6 months ago and the number started with a 516 area code, same scenario. I really wish someone can tell me how to make them start.
Ok I just got ANOTHER call from Jeff Miller with a heavy accent stating I have defaulted on a PAYDAY loan. Really! I get so tired of these that now I have started calling them every hour to just annoy them! They now hate me and have asked me to stop calling them, they even threatened me with harrasment!! Go figure!
