I got a call from this and my caller ID says "Yolanda Foster". They asked for my father-in-law or husband's brother (they have the same name so I am not sure which one). I am guessing it is my husband's brother who he doesn't talk to because he's always in trouble with the law. I've been married for 8 years and my husband's brother has never been in our life, doesn't know where we live, our phone number, etc. so I think these people look up relatives and then ask them for information to try to get to the family member. We had a call like this a while back (not sure if it was the same number) and I didn't know what it was about and contacted the entire family till someone finally explained to me how it works and that they call anyone with the same last name, relative, etc. to try to find someone to get the court papers served and find out the location of the relative they need to get in contact with. Chances are if you are getting a call, you are related to some deadbeat person like we are and they are looking for information. Now I just tell them they have the wrong number and thank God didn't name my children the same name.
