I have gotten so many calls today from this number and the 916-282-6934 plus a 512 & 521 area code all stating about a payday loan I took out. Finally the last time they called I asked them what they wanted with my 5 year old daughter. They said she took out a loan. I asked them if this was real to please fax the information to my husbands business which happens to be the sheriff's office. they hung up. I know they will keep trying with another number as I blocked the last three numbers. I can only block 5 numbers every 90 days I don't know how many numbers they have but I hope not many more.
OK...listen...DNC Registry only applies to Telemarketers. It does not apply to collections & these scammy "psuedo" collection guys, or the guy going through the phone book dialing numbers. Apparently it does not apply to gov't solicitors or voting stuff either. Every year around election time, I get numerous calls about people running for office, as well as the Fraternal Order of Police soliciting money.
I have noticed TIBI has a link or advertising on these responses. I just signed up for news letter yesterday & then started getting these calls. Does anyone also have a conection to TIBI?
I received multiple calls yesterday and today from this number. It was an Indian man. I told him to remove me from his list and he said "why?" and I said "Because I"m on the do not call list, I will report you to the federal trade commission. And he goes "Why? I want to marry you." THIS MAN IS A CREEP. I almost called police to file a restraining order but I don't know the true identity of the caller. THIS IS HARASSMENT.
I've received about 30 calls yesterday and more today from a variety of different area codes from the US and all of them are Indian, they may even be the same person.
