We have received multiple calls from this number over the last 5 days. They do not leave a message. I finally answered the call today and the guy said he was with AT&T on a recorded line. Told me they can give me HBO and Cinamax free for 3 months. I asked what the catch is, he said there is none. I asked if it extends my contract, he said no. He asked for my 4 digit passcode. I declined and told him I would call them if I was interested. He hung up.
I called AT&T customer service. They checked my account and said they have no notations of special offers for our account and they have not contacted us by telephone. However, she did offer me free HBO and Cinamax for 3 months. I told her I just wanted the calls to stop and I was not interested in the additional services. After my asking, she agreed to make note of the phone number 312-477-0340 and look into report the issue.
This number has been calling and leaving messages on my WORK phone claiming activity regarding my account. Well #1 I don't have AT&T anything, #2 why would I ever use my work phone as a point of contact?....seriously?
