The reason this is required is because the position having accessibility to our company credit/debit card. Your reported history and score will will not have an affect on our decision to employment here.

After you are finished, e-mail us your score (not the entire report), some quick information about why you think you're the best candidate for our open position, and lastly, a day time phone number you are able to be reached.

Honestly, I am excited to fill this position with a new friendly face and am looking forward to your quick response.

As you can see, it asks you to go to the credit report site.  Another scams involve taking an IQ test.  I guess I failed that one, because I did it!  Oops.

I received the same e-mail today too! Same company, same phone number. Sadly, I did the IQ test as well.

....funny.....I received a reply to an ad I posted on craigslist for ***Exec Admin Avail*** and the first reply I received was:

What two or three things are most important to you in your job?

Since that was a legit question....I answered it.  The next day I received a response as follows:

Thank you for your response and resume. Our firm is a young company in expansion and we are looking to build an driven and eager group. We are very interested in your application. Our HR Manager requires that we have your credit check on file prior to interview. This is a free service to you.

We look forward to speaking with you and discussing your potential employment with our company.

Mind you.....I took notice of the email address that I replied to which was:  To: [email protected] and the person that signed the reponse was a Jennifer Singer.

Since I already know that I did not submit a resume for review, I already knew that it was a bunch of BS, so I replied back with.....'unacceptable' and left it at that.  Guess I'll have to go onto craigslist and post a scam alert for others in our area......

After receiving the same email as everyone else, I sent back a bogus credit score #, and we will see if they respond.  I hope they do, and I will find a way to track the IP and shut them down.
