What!?! I got the same email too, just couple minutes ago.
But I did apply a job which they posted on craigslist.com.

So what is it about?
Not a really company? no such position?

So sad.. I thought I am closer to have a job.

Well, that sucks!  same as above postings.  I just replied.....waiting for response.

I got an email from them to go out to their website to get my credit score, but luckily I'm one of those whe research companies first because I didn't even get online to give them my information. Good luck to all of you. It's truly sad that people do this to others.

Never click on a link that is provided in one of these emails.  First, they are wanting to get more personal information so that they can easily steal your identity. Second, if they aren't doing the first, another popular tactic is that when you click on the link it automatically installs some type of cookie/virus on your system and that will allow them to remotely see everything on your computer system. Even if *** show up on YOUR screen when you type your password, the actual letters will show up on theirs. Better keep an eye on your credit cards and bank accounts for a while.  They may not use your info personally, but they can very easily sell it to others!

i have about 10 emails from these people, i wrote back telling them i don't trust the whole credit report thing but still continue to receive emails...
