Get a call from them couple times a week. Number is out of area but claim to be in Austin. I called back to have them remove my number and got hung up on. The second time I called talked someone and said they would take my number off.
Pre-record to a business. Second in two days, yesterdays pre-record had "SB Loan Store" and the guy first said "Small Business Loan Store" and later "Go Accredited". Refused to give out a web address. HIghly likely relared to Dice1976's caller. Today's also used Go Accredited (www.goaccredited.com). Different names for the same scam. Was given an example for a "loan" that amortized out at a 35.07% APR. I'd rather use my credit card. My guy's name was Edwin.
My phone number is on the federal do not call registry as well as the Indiana do not call registry. Companies like this one keep calling me anyway. These calls are illegal, and these companies need to be brought to justice. When you get an unsolicited call from a company like this one, if you are registered with the FTC, visit the do not call Web site and file a complaint. That's the only way these companies will be stopped. If you're not on the do not call list, register today at www.donotcall.gov. Here's the advice the FTC gives:
Hang up on illegal sales calls. If your number is on the Registry, and you get a sales call, or you get an illegal robocall, don't interact in any way. Don't press buttons to be taken off the call list or to talk to a live person. Doing so will probably lead to more unwanted calls. Instead, hang up and file a complaint with the FTC.
