Although they are a law firm collecting a debt where does the line not only are they hiding behind this telephone number....they are also sending you important documents via USPS in a plain white or yellow envelope with no return address....this is suppose to be a law firm. They are hoping that you disregard this letter and throw it away for junk mail. I have also been threathen by one of the attorneys calling from this telephone number stating that jail was going to be the option if I didn't appear in court.
someone should look into it. If it is a collection agency. i was watching a news story a while back talking about scam collection agencys using scare tactics to get you to pay. saying how they where going to call the cops and pack your bags because you are going to jail and things like that. They interviewed a police officer who said they where not in the habit of arresting people for not payinjg there bills. Isn't it neat how some random person can call you saying that you owe money when you have never heard from them before.
