Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I answered the phone when this number called, they asked for my father. I asked for the callers name and phone number. The caller said his name was Marvin, and rudely asked "Does your phone have caller ID?" "Yes it does" I replied. "Good" Marvin replied with a heavy attitude, "use the number on the ID." Then he hung up! I keep trying to call this number, which is the number on the ID. The phone doesn't ring, nothing connects, just dead air then a busy signal or Verizon customer service. I checked to make sure there was not a problem with my phone. I would love to call this "Marvin" back to find out what he wanted. He "Marvin" never told me what company he was calling from, or left a legitimate callback number.
They call my cell# at least 3 times a day ... never leave a message and when I answer there's no response. Getting really annoyed but I don't want to call the number back in case it's one of those scams.
