Hey guys. I have heard of a scam going on that calls you and hangs up. Then when you call back, they charge you hundreds of dollars through your phone bill using a 3rd party loophole that exists because of phone sex lines and other paid phone line services. I DO NOT know if this is one of those, but the fact that when you call back all you get is dead air is VERY suspicious. I am here to warn you all that IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO CALL ANY UNFAMILIAR NUMBERS BACK!! This is a scam that has already been exposed in the Chicago area once. Anybody that has a legitimate reason for contacting you would leave you a voicemail saying who they are and why they are contacting you. DON'T CALL BACK UNFAMILIAR NUMBERS!
Scam Caller - Beware!!! They told me they were collecting on an old medical bill. They rudely demanded my name, credit card number, and social security number. The person they later said that they were calling for is not even someone I know.
