Called me on 1 July claiming to be from Microsoft. Said that I was receiving error messages on their end about viruses. She needed to tap into my computer to view my internet content to fix the problem. I knew it was scam so I asked for a number to call her back and she kept giving me 4 digit numbers. I told her that I would look up Microsoft number on my own and call them back and she hung up.
Got call 8:45 Microsoft tech support, just after I stoped a malware infection warning, to call a number to receive assistance .. I'd like to know how they got my number .. too much of a coincidence .. she claimed she was in OHIO, although the exchange is Chicago
This clown keeps calling me pretending to be a tech support guy from Microsoft. Goofy Indian accent. Caller ID shows "American Dental" but this nut says he wants to help with my computer. First called me weeks ago. Now calling again. This idiot thinks Microsoft is based in Washington DC. I informed him that his scam is really stupid if he doesn't at least know the difference between D.C. and Washington state. I asked him if his mother knew what his "job" is. He got quiet. Told him to F. O. and hung up. He was obviously phishing.
