Got calls from 312-588-3111 several times. It leaves long messages about some college schedule. I am getting tired of it. When I call back no one answers, all circuits are busy meassge recording is there on the phone
I receive this call 312-588-3111 everyday, it really brothers me. It is
recored in my voice mail. It is not English speaking when recorded.
When I call back that number, I only can hear a fax receiving sound.
I already register my phone number on DO NOT CALL and 888-382-1222. But it doesn't help at all. Any HELP to stop that?
I have been receiving an automated call from this number about 3 weeknights per week for a couple of months. The call comes in on my cell phone. The message is in Spanish. From what I can decipher using my rusty high school Spanish, it's something about my son needing to report to school on Saturday. I live in Plano, Texas and have no children. This is so annoying!
No need to panic! This is an automated call system for schools. It is based in Chicago; hence the 312 area code. Schools from all over the country use this automated system. I get calls from this system about my kids' schools and we live in Florida. Sometimes they call to say my son needs to study for a test. Sometimes they call to announce a special event at the school. Sometimes they even call to say my son was a good kid at school today. Go figure. So, fear not! Answer the call and maybe they have good news about your kids too. If you don't have kids in school to get information about, then I would say to just ignore it or block the number. Or, perhaps you can answer, listen to the message to find out which school in your area it is for and then maybe you can contact the school to get your number off their list? I'm not sure how to get off the list. That sounds like a little bit of work, but hey, you could just block the number and get on with your life? :)
