These calls are from a system called "TeleParent". They use this 312 number as well as 213-412-1170 from Orange County, CA. It is an automated dialing system that schools from all over the country use to notify parents of school events. Sometimes they are calling to notify that a parent concerning their student's attendance. Sometimes they are calling to notify of an upcoming test or school event. Most recently, it has been used to notify parents of issues concerning the "Swine Flu". Since they are automated, and you will not be able to speak to a person, if you have an answering machine just let it pick it up to receive your message.
I received a call on my cell from 213-412-1170 and then 20 minutes later from 312-588-3111. I let it go to voicemail and there was no message. When I tried calling both numbers back they would not go through.
the tell number is part of an automated dialer that many schools use for testing, beinging of school notices, etc. there are several numbers that do the same thing for the school systems. be happy someone is trying to inform you of what is going on with your school. yes some numbers are out of your area. This number calls students parents in the Anaheim Union High School District to let parents know up and coming things related to them in their school and or district. Similar to teleparent but from the district, not the teacher.
