Between my landline and cell phone, I am getting loads of mystery calls that call all day, starting at exactly 8 a.m. my landline I answer I wait a minute I hit the number 2 and hang up. That's seems to be working. My cell does not have a call block option. I add the mystery numbers to my contact list under pain in the [***] or ball Busters, & I have them set to go right to voicemail.
I was wondering the same thing after receiving this call 2x already this morning.
I have Verizon and just logged into my account. Clicked on "My Plans & Services", then "Block Calls & Messages"
Looks like you can do up to 5 for free, but have to reset them after about 90 days, or you can subscribe to something called "FamilyBase" to block permanently.
In your phone log, click on the number. In the right hand corner there should be 3 dots that you can click on, dropbox will come down and there should be a reject number on it. Click on it and no more calls from them. If you don't have the dots, there are apps that you can get for free to block them as well! Hope this helps you!
The same thing just happened to me and has been going on for the past month. Blocking him is a good idea. I think they have a couple of other numbers they use also
