CBE Caller left no message. I called number back after I checked this site and I spoke to them about a Verizon balance.

I told them I was not aware of the balance and I asked if I payed now if I would have a negative notice on my credit report? They said they didn't know. So I told them I would check my credit report first before I payed them, and call Verizon to ensure nothing will show on my credit report.

After checking my credit report and confirming with Verizon that no negative notice had been or would be reported to my credit report, I called them back and payed the balance.

Make sure before you pay any collection company to check if they have already damaged your credit report, if they want their money they will need to remove the negative credit report.
