Same thing -- Just received a call from this number at 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning; when I answered Hello, it took a few seconds before a male voice said "Oh, I'm sorry, I called the wrong number I am looking for a David"!
Like the folks above, they left no message just dead air.
So I called back and it was a Black Womans voice simply saying plesae dial the ext you wish to reach and then rang and rang and rang. They need to dissapear...
Virtually the ame as gene commented on April 14 when I answered the phone a man stated that he was sorry, he had the wrong number and told me to have a nice day. Strange though, as I hadn't answered with my name and he first mentioned "David", but before I could say a word...he skipped to having the wrong number. My guess is they play the recording to voice mail only.
There is no contest, and you're not a winner. The reason they hang up is because they're just checking to see if it's a valid number for text and other promotions. This is how online mailing lists verify information.
