Caller ID says "VETS NOW". They leave no message. I do not call them back.
I have never given to a veterans' charity. I am on the do not call list. I have received a ton of calls from veterans' charities in the past. So far, IMO they have all been SCAMS. Hard to imagine that this call is the one saint in a sea of sinners.
I looked elsewhere for information on this number. There were 2 reports of an IRS scam, 2 calls for war veterans, 2 reports that they call at crazy hours. The latter behavior is typically seen with windows scammers calling from India. I have been receiving a lot of windows scammers lately.
